Thank Ericiel For Fictional Worlds

Sometimes, my friends think that I tune out too much. But, I consider it pacing myself. I am a sensitive person and never read the news, I feel the news.

I’m working on a new series, “Threads of Ericiel,” which takes place before “Winds of Ericiel.”

It is passionate and tense, and I have to have tissues handy because of love. Fiction is a safe place to be sensitive and let yourself go. It’s just sad that when I close the book, the real world makes me want to go dive right back in. I know I’m not alone… just sharing this in case anyone needs to hear it. And, it gets it out of my head when I see the words.

May everyone be blessed and strong in 2026. I do believe there is more good than evil, but evil gets more press, attention, and/or clicks. Remember that the angry people are probably very unhappy souls, or they are paid to be angry. Look for kindness, and you will find it. Curate your feeds and stay away from the people who want you to be outraged. Nobody needs to shout to be effective. Gentleness is more powerful.

Pass with peace,

Mae
